For my poster image, I was pretty sure that what I wanted was a photo of my house, and after experimenting with a few shots, I have found the one that I am going to use:
I have chosen this image becuase it is like an outisder looking in and the branches make it look potentially eerie. To edit my image I firt set it to grayscale and then used photoshop to edit it further. Initially, I thought that I would be able to do this by using a gradient tool to darkent the edges and draw attention into the front door. This however didn't turn out to work as the lines were clearly visible and I could not get the effect I was after. I then tried to experiment with the techniques myself trying to fit a tool that would give me the effect that I wanted, but in the end I used found an online tutorial to show me how to uses the tools avaliable to me.
